Today and yesterday have been crazy. It's Avon order time, and that always creates alot of work aside from my normal activities. I've spent two days calling people. Most have completely forgotten about it, or have just plain lost their book. Such is life...
Day 11: When we were getting ready for church on Sunday, Travis had gotten Dalen dressed while I was getting ready. The shirt was so small his belly was hanging out, so I asked if he'd get him another shirt. Same thing. So I decided it was time to switch out his clothes. Any mother knows this is not fun and it's a ton of work.
The Mountain Of Clothes!
I was just about finished with the mountain when my dryer started making a squealing sound. :-( Travis said not to use it until he gets home to look at it. Hopefully it's nothing major.Day 12: I have decided to look into freezing fruits and vegetables so we could stock up since Dalen goes through alot so we usually end up buying too much and some goes to waste, and it wouldn't be such a bad idea if Travis and I started eating more of them too. I asked my MIL about it since she always has a garden and cans. She sent me a website called Pick Your Own. It tells all about freezing and canning just about everything. Today I tried my hand at freezing pears.
The key to freezing fruit is this handy dandy stuff called Fruit Fresh. It is all natural, and it keeps the fruit from turning brown while it is being frozen.
It was time consuming, but it think it will be a money saver. And it's good to know that we will have fresh produce and not have to worry about chemical preservatives.
I still have a bag of apples to peel and freeze, but I'll just do that tomorrow. I've been so busy I haven't had time to do any of the Wii Fit since Saturday :-( I have managed to knit a few rows here and there on my scarf though. It's turning out really nicely. I'll post pictures of my progress maybe next time. Have a great Tuesday! I think it's Tuesday, right?

That's a great idea to freeze fruit. We throw away alot of stuff too. Love the pics of the pears!
Hey I wanted to ask - do you know if you can freeze bananas the same way you did your pears?
