Project 365: Days 84-89

Day 84:

Anna and I took the boys over to get signed up for their class called Wee Wigglers. After that we took them to Burger King for some food and to play in the play place there. It's one of the better play areas around for little ones, except for the fact that parents won't control their children and make bigger kids take a chill pill an not run over top of the smaller ones. With that said... :-) Here's a picture...

Day 85:

We went to Huntington to look at their vehicle selection and made a stop at Cracker Barrel. I love their french toast! Dalen was really studying trying to figure this toy out...it's funny that I got the same look on my face during Physics class in high school ha ha. Sorry buddy, it's over my head.

Day 86:

Dalen has gotten into the habit of waking up after only a couple hours of sleeping at night. Here is him and Mr. Fix It...I love this picture.

Day 87:

We went to the grocery store and did alittle shopping for Dalen's Easter Basket. Here's one of his gifts that he insisted on wearing through the store for awhile. Cool, huh?

Day 88:

In an effort to get Bella to bond more with Dalen, we've been letting him give her treats...he thinks it's so funny and as soon as Bella grabs it from him she runs for the hills.

Day 89:

I got on the Jamie Oliver Food Revolution website and got a recipe for french toast with strawberries. Since I've been trying to get Dalen to eat strawberries I thought I'd make this for his dinner. It turned out looking great, and I even sampled a piece to make sure it tasted good....check. He wouldn't touch the stuff.

And BONUS! Here's a video!!! Love this!

Spring 2010 Products I Love Edition

Day 83:

Here is a special "Spring 2010 Products I Love" edition to my Project 365.

Mark. A Little Twisted Bag in white

Mark. Vintage Bloom Ring in Nude....both are very trendy for Spring.

Mark. Mega Volume Hair Spray...it's really awesome and only $5!

Mark. Citrus Bloom Fragrance Mist (I have it in the hook up form called A Spray We Go)...love this scent!...it's only $8!

Vaseline Sheer Infusion Mineral Renewal Body Lotion...by far the best lotion I've found.

Blistex Lip Massage Lip Protectant...this stuff is awesome! It has little ridges that actually massage your lips as you are applying it. This is the most inexpensive way to pamper yourself by far!

Avon's Anew Skin Care Line is awesome! I use the Anew Rejuvenate Day cream and love it!

Avon Superextend Mascara...this is probably one of my most favorite Avon products...it really is a great extending mascara and it's about half the price of major brands!

Avon Glimmersticks Eyeliner

Avon True Color Blush in Golden Glow...I use both everyday!

Wow all but two of these is Avon and Mark stuff! I do sell these products but I am only putting them on as my favorites because they really are my favorites.

Have a great Thursday!

Project 365: Days 82

Day 82:

This is a special moment...Dalen actually stopped for 2 seconds to sit on the couch. It was nice.

Here's what happened in the next 2 seconds...

Dalen, please don't give your Mother a heart attack!

Project 365: Days 75-81

I'm so behind on this.

Sorry about the photo editing on these, I am still having problems getting Picnik to work.

Day 75:
I have discovered Log Cabin knitting and I love it!

I'm going to make about 12 of these blocks and sew them together with matching yarn to make Dalen a blanket. The pattern for this is in the Mason-Dixon Knitting book that I mentioned before.

Day 76:
Yes, it's that time!

This always creates a problem in our house..Mr. Fix It and I both love the same kind of cookies :-(

Day 77:

This picture makes me realize that Dalen is the perfect name for our child. My Grandpa, Dale, used to sleep looking just like this.

Day 78:

Mr. Fix It's parents came up to see him teach Sunday School for the first time and came to our house for the first cook out of the season. Here they all are checking out what will hopefully be our garden. Mr. Fix It did a wonderful job teaching by the way ;-).

Day 79:

Dalen is sick with an ear infection. We've all had a rough couple of days. Here's all the medicine he's on right now.

I'm happy to say that as of today he is doing much better.

Day 80:

Yep, Dalen's been through these parts...

Day 81:

All I have to say is, "Backpack, Backpack!"

Project 365: Day 74

Day 74:

Since I'm feeling Presidential from sitting in President Kennedy's seat in the restaurant on Saturday, I thought I'd post this picture of myself hee hee...

In other news, I took Dalen outside to play today. He had a really good time, and so did I except for the part where he was always heading for the street. I've got my work cut out for me this Summer...

Project 365: Days 69-73

Day 69:

Dalen and I met Anna and Owen at McDonald's for lunch. After we ate we took the boys out to play since it was nice weather for a change. We were both totally the hovering, over-protective mother type ha ha. But we all had a great time and hope to hang out with them alot more.

Day 70:

The Gibson family met the Frazier family for dinner (like we didn't just see each other the day before ;-)) After dinner there was no way we could all visit and talk since we had two 18 month olds who wanted to roam and explore the world so we went back to trusty old McDonald's so they could play once again. This time the Dads were with us and had fun taking them down the slide.

Me and Anna

Day 71:

We went with Mr. Fix It's parents to the WSAZ Home and Garden Show. Dalen got to see Llamas, baby chicks, baby goats, and puppies at the petting zoo, of course he called them all puppies though.

He saw the Easter Bunny...

He drove his 1st tractor...

And saw Beeper!

After the Home and Garden Show we all went out to dinner to a nearby restaurant and I got to set in the same seat as President John Kennedy when he visited there in 1960...I'm feeling very Presidential ;-)

Day 72:

I don't post many pictures of Ms. Bella so here's one. I love her.

Day 73:

My friend Jessica came over today and we went out for lunch again. We were best friends in high school, so it's been great getting to hang out with her again.

Project 365: Days 64-68

Day 64:

I spent the entire day Saturday shopping for new clothes. Here's part of my closet now ;-)

Day 65:

We have been wanting to get a good study Bible for awhile now and after comparing many different types of Bibles we decided on getting a King James Version Life Application Bible. I really like it.

Day 66:

I spent the entire day working on Avon so I could get my order placed on time.

I ordered some stuff for myself out of the Mark magalog that I'm super excited to get :-)

Day 67:

Today I had a great time spending the afternoon with my best friend from high school, Jessica. It was good to hang out with her again.

Later on that day Mr. Fix It snapped this picture of me working on the second set of Moose and Zee that I'm making as a gift.

Day 68:

Mr. Fix It got his new guitar today. He was upstairs most of the evening playing it. I'm glad he likes it.

And a bonus picture of Dalen after bath time...

Project 365: Days 62-63

Day 62:

I'm reading a book called
Mason-Dixon Knitting.

I am so excited to start a project from this book even though I'm in the middle of something else right now so it will have to wait until I'm done. Anyways, I wanted to share this from the book...

From a time line of knitting history:
" A.D. 1215: .....The husband comes out and says, "What are you doing, milady?" Woman says, "Shut up, I'm counting."

Ha ha! That is so me and Mr. Fix It. He knows not to talk to me while I'm counting my stitches. Happy Wife= Happy Life. :-)

Day 63:

We had lunch with our friends Anna and Owen at Burger King today. Here's our two little kings...

Project 365: Days 61-62

Day 61:

They are finished!!!
Moose and Zee

Day 62:

Since I finished Moose and Zee after Dalen was in bed for the night, I didn't get to give them to him until today. I think it was a successful project because he loves them! His smile made it all worth doing.

Project 365: Days 57-60

Day 57:

Every time Bella comes in we give her a doggy biscuit and say, "What puppy do?"...this is what she does...

Day 58:

We spent the evening with Mr. Fix It's parents. This was the first chance we had to get to see them because of all the snow we've been getting. Dalen greeted Pawpaw as he was coming in from work.

And he got to color with Grandma...

Day 59:

I had a date today, isn't he lovely?

After church I spent a few hours doing some heavy duty cleaning.

Day 60:

I have the Michael Jackson, "This Is It" CD in my car and every time "Billie Jean" comes on this is what Dalen does...

For some reason he really loves this song. He only smiles about Moose and Zee songs and Billie Jean ha ha.

Project 365: Days 52-56

Day 52:

Today is my Dad's birthday...Happy Birthday Dad!!!

For today's picture I decided use the felt I've bought for my Moose and Zee project. I always do bad with remembering to take pictures on Sundays so this is what you get...

Day 53:

Job hunting day. Mr. Fix It found a few jobs to apply for. Most companies are only accepting applications online now, I was surprised at how many.

Day 54:

Now it's my turn during birthday week...My Birthday!!! Mr. Fix It took me to eat at Outback. They wished me a Bonzer Birthday and gave us a free ice cream sundae to share, which was delicious. I had a really good time...Thanks Mr. Fix It!

Day 55:

Mr. Fix It put up a shelf for me in the laundry room. Looks good, huh?

He got aggravated about the screws that he bought for the project. It was kinda funny that we had this conversation where we had decided that him buying nuts and bolts, etc. was like me having a thing for buying office supplies so I agreed to let him buy some to do this and he didn't end up liking them. But whatever he ended up using works and it looks great! Thanks again Mr. Fix It!

Today is my Father-in-laws birthday...Happy Birthday!!!

Day 56:

This is what Dalen is stuck on lately. He constantly has to push this heart button so it will light up...

And I just have to share this story. The other morning I was feeding Dalen oats for breakfast. He was getting full and didn't want anymore so I asked him, "Dalen, do you want some more oats?", and he says just as plain as anything, "No Mommy No." It was the cutest thing!
